Job Description Fantastic opportunity to join highly respected grower/shipper/packer ag operation's team based in Salinas, CA. On behalf of our client, we are seeking a high energy multi-tasker for the position of Harvest Coordinator. This is a full-time position (direct hire) which will report directly to the production manager and work concurrently with the accounting manager as well as work closely with a team of sales professionals. Your day will begin at 6:30 or 7:00 a.m. and you will be required to work every other Saturday. This employer offers a growth oriented and fast paced work environment. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

Communicate and coordinate daily with customers and harvest personnel required volumes needed to ensure a smooth supply chain.
Responsible for entry of harvest schedules containing production, ongoing inventory, and current days harvest for numerous locations. Maintain assigned commodities with use of Excel Spreadsheets.
Balancing inventory on a daily basis for assigned commodities
Research and account for any missed loads.
Verbal/written communication with customers, suppliers and transportation agencies.
Manage product order entry, track contract obligations and pricing.
Communicate effectively with quality control, accounting, and production staff as needed
Coordinate data with shipping, including detail and time sensitive documentation
Perform special projects and assignments as directed
Candidate Requirements Successful individual will be able to perform the above listed responsibilities. Must have an excellent work ethic and be reliable, have good computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Word and strong Excel, experience with the agriculture industry, a combination of proven work experience and college education, and have excellent communication skills. Must have had a minimum of three years experience working with harvest and/or raw product agriculture operations. Fluency in both English and Spanish is REQUIRED. Familiarity with Famous operating system is preferred.
