Job Description Exciting opportunity to join diversified successful farming operation based in South Monterey County, California. Busy President/CEO is in need of an executive administrative assistant who will assist in personal, business and family operations. This is a full-time opportunity offering competitive compensation and terrific benefits package.

Responsibilities for this position include (but are not limited to) the following:

* Contract review and writing: Crop: custom farming, purchase agreements and growing.
* Escrow company liaison and all things relating to each escrow or deeds, titles, etc.
* Maintain Ranch Rental Payment Schedule.
* Maintain ranch maps, irrigation maps, well information.
* Maintain "Excel" equipment list.
* Review projected planting schedules and verify weekly planted acres.
* Farm Pak Insurance (Auto/Equip/Liability) liaison.
* Maintain and review monthly mortgage payments.
* Special projects and any other duties as needed.

Further, may encompass the following miscellaneous duties and/or responsibilities:
Draft correspondence, credit card issues, Rx prescriptions, maintaining calendar, event planning and gift buying.

* Assist Controller to ensure all financial reports are presented to executive staff and prepared in a timely and accurate manner.
* Maintain airplane database, A/R, A/P, fuel, hours, insurance, contracts, etc.
* Maintain checkbooks and monthly bank statement reconciliations.
Candidate Requirements Ideal candidate will have the following skills and/or qualifications (or a combination of same):

* Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
* Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Six to eight years minimum related experience as an administrative assistant to an executive manager.
* Ability to perform the above-mentioned responsibilities.
* Experience writing and/or reviewing contracts and other legal documents. Paralegal credentials a plus.
* Ability to work with all levels of management.
* Proven leadership and business acumen skills.
* Commitment to excellence and high standards.
* Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent. Combination of work experience and education may be considered.
